Honors Advising

Each honors major is advised by their Psychology Honors Advisor, as well as by a member of the Honors College staff. An individualized program is tailored to each student's needs. The Psychology Advisors are:

  • Professor Joe Lonstein, 219 Giltner Hall, 517-353-8675, (Advisor for sophomore - senior students whose last name starts with A-K)
  • Professor Susan Ravizza, 285C Psychology Building, 517-432-3366, (Advisor for sophomore - senior students whose last name starts with L-Z)
  • For new students starting Fall 2017 or after, course advising will be done by the department's academic advisors listed above (Sarah, Andrea, and Lindsay).  New students are still welcome to meet with Dr. Lonstein and Dr. Ravizza for career planning, research engagement, and planning for the required thesis.

Undergraduate Office Staff

The Undergraduate Psychology Advising Center can be a busy place. Students and faculty can get information and resources from the advisors and the staff. Audra & Kim are available to help with course information, overrides, independent study forms, and late adds and drops. They are very friendly and knowledgeable, so make sure to use them as a resource.
